Even practice is dangerous when your a Warrior driver. Jesse Underwood is probably wonder how he could have made his car any easier to see so he won't get hit while spun in practice again.
Two thumbs up to Airborne having a major security presence at the track, looks like they hired some tough dudes so I would keep in line if I were troublemaker.
With all the changes to Airborne, one thing never changed.... Tigers going 3 deep just like always. Begor (19) had a FAST car in the heat race and was on the move.
Don't spoil the nice new paint job!!
Chip Grenier more accustomed to the high banks of Thunder Road goes 3 wide around the outside.
Oh you gotta hate when this happens!!
Quick!! Someone throw water on them!!
Chris Lavair making his Tiger debut at Airborne got a little out of shape but escaped without any damage.
Robin Wood pretty much had the field covered. He led all 100 laps of the Spring Green in one of the most dominating runs I have seen
Rookie Travis Paquet spun down into the soggy infield.
The Renegades were back in full force with one of their best car counts in the last few years.
Close battles like this one for I think it was 4th in the heat is the reason why they are one of the best divisions to watch.
Chris Thayer interviews " The World Famous" Bucko Branham after his first ever Modified win. Also was Team Outside Groove's first Mod win.. Wooohooo!!!!!
I am sure Bucko had more fun standing next to the new Airborne Girls rather then Mr Thayer!!  The new trophy girls who also double duty as the 50/50 ticket girls seemed to be a pretty popular new addition to the track.
Robin Wood bringing back the checkers after his victory lap. Mr Cool and Collected looked a bit more excited then with his 5 wins last  year, must be the Spring Green and leading 100 laps meant a lot to him.
Or maybe Bucko told him before the race that he would get to meet the Airborne Girls up close if he won so he was thinking about that?
More then just pretty faces, the girls felt bad because Darcy Putnam , winner of the warrior feature, did not get a victory lane photo or anything so they tracked him down in the pits and gave him his moment he deserved. Good job by all tonite!!
