Tracie Bellerose returned from her retirement due to injuries sustained in a crash. Though it was only to be Grand Marshall and take a few practice laps in John Donahues car, it was still good to see her at the track.
Class Day, full crowd of people on their feet, temps in the high 60s, slight breeze, no clouds.... can it get any better?
Josh Lovely with arguably THE best looking Tiger Car on the track this year. Love that detail and the diamond plate and chrome accents.
Too bad the Tigers had their version of The Big One when a driver put down some fluid and everyone piled into the wall.
One of those guys was the previously mentioned Josh Lovely machine, looking a little worse for wear.
Joe Becker got nudged coming out of four but hung on and didn't lose a spot.
Joey Pole and Jerry Lesage tangled
Jerry got the worse of it.
Grant Folsom and Patrick Laperle beating the snot out of each other.
Seems that tempers got the best of the boys on this day and neither made the big show.
Neither driver was willing to give the other guy a lift....
In the end they both ended up damaged and out of a qualifying spot.
Late Models didn't hesitate to go three wide even!
Warriors?? Heck they run 3 wide in practice, racing they go for 5 or more.
Sucks when ya blow a right rear coming out of 4 don't it?
Josh's day got a little better when he won the B feature.
Ms Bellerose throws the green and right away Brent Dragon ( 55) and Jean Paul Cyr (32) start to beat the tar out of each other.
For 40 or so laps it was like this and had us on the edge of our seats.
These are two drivers you just don't expect to see knocking each others doors in.
The Dragon Wagon was looking like a Jersey barrier on the highway.
King of the Road did not have a great home coming.
After Brent fell back I guess he wanted to trade some more paint.
He was not alone as there were several dinged up racers.
Cyr wins by that much over Scott Payea. Scott drove a great race to stay with the multi time ACT champ til the end.

Doug Murphy brings home the first Team Outside Groove checkers of the year. Way to go Doug!! Guess smashing your finger and my getting stung by a wasp is somehow lucky?? Hope not cuz I am not planning on a repeat!
