CARR Upcoming Events
CANAAN, NH (January 6, 2003): The Canaan Association of Racers for Racers 
(CARR) will be participating in regional motorsports expositions during the 
off-season as well as offering a seminar for its members and other racers 
that are considering competing at the Canaan Fair Speedway asphalt track in 
2003.

The first exposition on the calendar for the CARR organization will be the 
Racin' Preview at the Expo in Portland, ME. CARR will be joining the Canaan 
Fair Speedway dirt track competitors for this mid-February event hosted by 
the Racin' Paper. The Portland show will begin Friday, February 21 at 5pm 
and conclude on Saturday, February 22 at 9pm.

The second exposition will be held at the Big E in West Springfield, MA on 
February 28 through March 2. Race-A-Rama is the largest motorsports 
exposition in New England and draws fans, competitors, race tracks, and 
series from all over the Northeast. Speedway Scene, a weekly trade paper, 
hosts this event.

If your race team is in need of assistance with your sponsorship program, 
plan to attend the Motorsports Sponsorship Seminar at the Canaan Fair 
Speedway function hall on February 1 at Noon. CARR Operations Manager, and 
owner of Speedway Advertising LLC, Bob Stanhope will be presenting this 
seminar, which will provide information from developing a sponsorship 
program, to implementing and maintaining the relationships that are 
established. Sample proposals, cover letters, team websites, and an 
extensive Q&A session will be part of this informative seminar.

CARR members and registered Canaan Fair Speedway/Bear Ridge Speedway 
competitors can attend the seminar free of charge. Non-members are welcome. 
There will be a registration fee of $25.00 for non-members and registration 
must be completed by January 25.
